CIR - Community Inclusive Recreation"The mission of Community Inclusive Recreation is to create an inclusive community where people of all abilities can participate, contribute, and reach their goals."The church's property extends east of the main building to include a small building which houses the "ETC. Arts Studio," part of Community Inclusive Recreation (CIR). This program has an eye catching, fenced in sculpture garden in the front of the building which is inviting. The ETC. Arts Studio's programs teach area residents of all abilities to create art celebrating the message of social inclusion and diversity. First Congregational Church of Battle Creek is proud to have housed this program since February 2005. Community Inclusive Recreation as the name implies offers a variety of recreational activities beyond art, including bowling, golf, baseball, theme parks and more.
