HABITAT FOR HUMANITY MISSION TEAMHabitat for Humanity is a non-profit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry building simple, decent and affordable homes in partnership with those in need.Our mission team members are continuing to get out of their pews to put their faith into action. It doesn't take any special skills and anyone who would like to pitch in for a Habitat for Humanity work session is warmly welcomed. We typically work on a Habitat project on the third Saturday of each month. We communicate primarily through email to let members know dates and times. We also support special Habitat events such as when our church took a full week of building the "faith" house, providing food for the "builders blitz" and getting our kids involved in the "youth build" day. And while we're swinging hammers or hanging drywall to provide housing for deserving families in our community, we are also connecting and having fun as a church family. If you think you would ever like to participate in any Habitat for Humanity project, share your email with us and we'll let you know when the work opportunities are scheduled.
