Honoring the Living Spirit, a juried art show, will be sponsored by First Congregational Church of
Battle Creek this spring. The show opens Sunday April 6, 2008 and ends Sunday May 4, 2008. Our purpose is to connect
arts with the church. We hope to provide a stimulus for artists to explore the spiritual nature of life.
Awards include: first prize $300, second prize $150, and third prize $100, Battle Creek Society of Artists'
Award $100, South West Michigan Watercolor Society Award $100. The jurists will be Fred Robberts, an art
educator from Jasper Indiana, and Marilyn Robberts, a liturgical artist from Jasper Indiana.
