Choir Camp 2007 Choir Camp Workshop 2007 Choir Camp 2007 was a huge success as 35 students in grades 1-8 learned and performed a musical production in one week! This years' show was "Life of the Party", the story of Mary and Martha by Tom Long and Allen Pote. We learned about problem solving with our friends and family members in a way that was caring and respectful. We learned that sometimes it's better to slow down and listen to God's call, rather than be so busy that we can't hear it. We also made new friends and had lots of fun learning the music! Choir Camp staff consisted of Lucy Lower and Gerald Blanchard as directors, Lory Shaw and Sarah Harnden as activity directors, Brent Reid with lighting and technical support, Mark Wells as accompanist, and Christie Lower as assistant. Pastor Leah was also involved with daily devotions and t-shirt design. Choir Camp is co-sponsored by First Congregational Church, UCC, and First Presbyterian Church. Next year's Choir Camp is scheduled for the week of August 11-15, 2008. Plan now to attend if you are entering grades 1-8 next fall. We will once again present an exciting musical based on a story from the bible. It's a great time for kids and everyone involved.
